2. bigwig (저명인사, sarcastic하게도 가끔 쓰임)
- a powerful person with a high position in a corporate structure
- i.e.) everyone knows that the CEO is the most important bigwig in any company
3. bird's-eye view
- a broad and expansive view of a place or something
- i.e.) the helicopter ride was a lot of fun! We got a bird's-eye view of the entire town!
4. birds of a feather flock together (같은 깃털의 새들은 함께 모인다. 유유상종)
- Friends are often alike (usually used in a negative sense)
- i.e.) They weren't surprised that the group of friends exhibited similar personalities. after all, birds of a feather flock together
5. bite off more than you can chew (무리하다)
- to take on a task that you're unable to finish
- i.e.) we weren't surprised when Barbara and Matthew couldn't finish the task. They'd bitten off more than they could chew.
