1. as rare as hen's teeth

- extremly rare or non-existent

- i.e.) no, i have never seen that animal even though it's supposed to live around here. i've found they're as rare as hen's teeth

 

2. as right as rain (아주상태가 좋은, 왜 비인지는 밝혀지지않음)

- it's good or perfect

- i.e.) Maggie asked me how my work was going and I told her the truth that it's as right as rain

 

3. as the crow flies (일직선으로)

- either in a straight line or directly, without the use of roads

- i.e.) the mall is only two miles away, as the crow flies. it takes longer to get there when you take certain routes

4. as white as a sheet/as white as a ghost

- extreamly pale, so much so that it causes concern

- i.e.) what's wrong? you look as white as a sheet! are you ill? has something terrible happened?

 

5. at best

- in the best-case scenario

- i.e.) at best, i can say that he was kind of creative in his essay. it wasn't very good, overall.
