1. Hang out

- to spend time with someone, casually

- i.e.) My friend and I used to hand out in the park after school

 

2. Hang up

- to end a call on the phone, especially if it's before the other person is ready

- i.e.) I was in the middle of a sentence, and he hung up on me! How rude.

 

3. Hold on

- to hold something tightly 

- a way of asking someone to wait for a moment

- i.e.) You'd better hold on your hat, it's windy out there

 

4. Hold back

- to stop yourself from doing or saying something

- i.e.) Jay has a great voice but whenever he's singing in public he feels shy and holds back

 

5. Log in

- Used with computers, this phrase means to sign into your account on a website or computer

- i.e.) Don't forget to log in to your FluntU account to learn English better and faster

 

6. Log out/off

- used with computers, to sign out of your account

- i.e.) you should always log out of your accounts when you use a public PC.
